Privacy Policy

Short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the site and sell the guides. We don't sell your data, we don't share it with advertisers, and the Google account access described below is used for one job only.

What we collect

• Email address — when you grab the cheat-sheet, take the quiz, or buy a guide. Stored in our own database (Cloudflare KV). Used to deliver what you asked for and the occasional email about new guides or coaching. Unsubscribe anytime; every email has a way out.
• Quiz answers — stored alongside your email so your result and recommendation make sense. Never sold, never shared.
• Purchase info — order confirmations for the PDF guides. Payment itself is handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your card number.
• Basic analytics — Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits and popular pages. No cookies for tracking, no cross-site profiling.

Google / YouTube account data

Some BustaWrench tooling connects to Google APIs (primarily the YouTube Data API) using an account we control, to keep our own channel's video descriptions and links current. To be explicit:

• What is accessed: our own YouTube channel's video metadata (titles, descriptions), the channel About section, and the uploads list. Nothing else.
• What it is used for: updating our own video descriptions and channel sections. That is the entire job.
• Storage: OAuth tokens are stored on our own server. They are never shared with third parties.
• Sharing: Google user data is never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never used for advertising. It is not transferred to any third party except as required to operate the integration (i.e. calls back to Google's own API).
• Your control: if you ever grant this app access to your Google account, you can revoke it at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking immediately stops all access.
• Data retention & deletion: API-derived data is limited to what is needed for the task above. To request deletion of any data associated with you, email us (address below) and we will delete it.

Affiliate links

Some pages contain affiliate links (e.g. Amazon Associates). If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Clicking an affiliate link sends you to that retailer's site, which operates under its own privacy policy.

Children

BustaWrench content is aimed at adult sim racers. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the effective date above. Material changes to how Google user data is handled will be disclosed here before they take effect.
