Plain-English terms. By using the site, buying a guide, or booking coaching, you agree to the below.
Digital guides
- Guides (including the $5 comeback cheat-sheet) are digital PDF downloads. Nothing ships.
- Your purchase is for your own use. Don't redistribute, resell, re-upload, or post the paid PDFs publicly. The free cheat-sheet you can share all you like.
- Because they're instant downloads, all guide sales are final — but if your file is broken or won't download, email us and we'll make it right. That's a file problem, not a refund policy.
Coaching
- Coaching is personal instruction, scheduled by agreement. If you need to reschedule, give us as much notice as you can and we'll work it out.
- No lap-time guarantees. Coaching makes you faster through method and practice, not magic — anyone promising a specific number is selling something else.
Free content
The guide, quiz, videos, and cheat-sheets are free to use for your own driving. Quoting with credit is fine. Republishing whole sections as your own content is not.
Email list
Joining the list gets you the thing you asked for plus occasional updates. Unsubscribe anytime via the link in any email. We don't sell the list, ever.
Affiliate disclosure
Some links (gear recommendations, Amazon) are affiliate links. Purchases through them may earn us a commission at no cost to you. Recommendations are gear we'd point a friend at regardless.
Acceptable use
Don't abuse the site, the forms, or the APIs — no spam, no scraping the quiz endpoint, no trying to break things. We'll cut off access for abuse without a long debate about it.
Liability
Sim racing advice is given in good faith from long experience, but you're responsible for your own driving, your own rig, and your own purchases. To the extent the law allows, BustaWrench isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages. If a guide genuinely doesn't work as described, tell us and we'll fix or refund that order.
Changes
These terms may be updated; the effective date above will change when they do. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
